Pirates of Penzance or The Slave of
Duty. A comic masterpiece, filled
with familiar melodies and lively
action, is loved by audiences the
world over. Start with rollicking
pirates who get caught with a gaggle
of proper maidens, add in some
ridiculous logic about February 29,
a whimsical Major General, the
Keystone Cops, and a misplaced sense
of duty. Sung in English (with
supertitles) with full orchestra and
costumes. Sing-a-long Thursday
night.
